Honestly, I should create several podcasts, since the only constant in my audio creations is me. But, that’s not how it works on Substack, which hosts my work. I have tried to categorize it better; however, the system has one Podcast and everything goes through that feed. So, I’m releasing everything as Tell Me A Mystery Podcast and keep a list on this page, so listeners have the ability to find what they want.
My apologies if this causes any confusion!

Index for Sound-Bite Theatre:

Lyric: a Mother of a Faery Tale:
Lyric #1 - Something’s Up - We meet Ashley Scott, a college student on summer break and she’s having a weird day.
Lyric #2 - The Cat - Ashley gets a teaching assistant summer job, but crosses path with a cat that turns her world upside down.
Lyric #3 - Cat Strikes Again - The strange cat “speaks” to Ashley again, with some disturbing images. The form of communication almost makes her faint, which interrupts class.
Lyric #4 - Crispin - The cat leads Ashley into a rendezvous with someone her mother forbid her to see!
Lyric #5 - Metamorphosis - Ashley finally meets her grandmother, sorta.
Lyric #6 - Oh Mother! - Ashley deals with her family history by visiting her mom.
Future episodes are in the works, but technical issues paused production. It’s on the agenda for January 2026. If you’d like more sooner, let us know!
Stand Alone Mysteries:
Locked Room - This story should make you treat your neighbors better!
Bad Company - Love & crime don’t mix.
Audio Excerpts from Fiction Substacks I Love:
Kummer Wolfe - “Dark Device of the Great Chasm” - fast-paced adventure!
Liz Zimmer/The Palace of Night - “Lake Effect” - a moody & melancholy tale.
Scoot/Gibberish - “The Duel” - a taste of film noir, with a robot!
Xavier MacFarlane/The Not Yet Novelist - “The Glaciermen” - "The Thing" meets "Apocalypto"
Lyndsey Resnick/Poison Ivy House - “Apparition” - a spooky short story that warns how memories can wound.

And… you can find all of the 2X2 Interviews HERE! Enjoy! They are a great way to meet Substack writers. I’ll keep adding to the list, as we encourage every writer to do a 2X2 with their favorite Substackers. it’s 2 Substackers asking eachother 2 questions!
