Great chapter. You have my attention, this is getting good. Also really like the idea of a short recap and bold skimming lines in a format like Substack. Good work.

I love the narrative but I’m confused. The last heroine we met was a soon-to-be Harvey Girl on a train. What have I missed?

Sorry I confused you, but I have two mysteries going right now. One is the Harvey Girl and it posts every Wednesday. The other is the Time Witch and it posts on Fridays.

No problem! Thanks for the clarification.

TBH, I’m hanging on a thread waiting for the next episode of the Harvey Girl 😳😬

Okay. Now I’m hooked on TWO mysteries. Both are excellent but also different.

Such great writing 😊

Time Witch is intriguing and though I don’t know where you are headed with the story, I am reminded of the ongoing research at UVA’s medical school about children who demonstrate evidence of having lived a past life. I know it sounds crazy but they have documented over 2,500 cases in the past several decades. And this is by teams of hard core scientific researchers and physicians.

It opens the door to many interesting ideas such as the possibility of a soul reincarnating multiple times. I’ve often thought the material would make for an interesting through line for a story.

This one is really good too, Mark! Definitely worth starting from the first episode!

Thanks, my friend. It would have been hard to pocket the tintype. It's a little bigger than a cell phone and made of steel, so it doesn't bend. I should have made that more clear. Thanks for reading!!!
